The poster for the 82nd anniversary of the D-Day landings has been unveiled

45 days to go until the 82nd anniversary of the D-Day landings in Arromanches!

On 5, 6 and 7 June, Arromanches will host the commemorations for the 82nd anniversary of the D-Day landings. To mark the occasion, the D-Day Museum is unveiling the official poster for this year’s event, which will feature prominently during the commemorative events taking place over these three days.

Every year, this event provides a vital opportunity to remember, pass on the legacy and pay tribute to those who shaped the history of the D-Day landings and the Liberation. In Arromanches, an iconic site of D-Day and the Mulberry B artificial harbour, these commemorations take on a very special significance.

The full programme will be unveiled shortly, but several highlights are already planned: commemorative ceremonies, Camp Churchill, concerts, as well as various events focusing on remembrance and history.

From 5 to 7 June, residents, visitors, history enthusiasts and families are invited to gather in Arromanches to share these moments of reflection, discovery and remembrance.

The countdown has begun.
