On 1 November 2022, the D-Day Museum will close its doors

Opened in 1953 and inaugurated in 1954, just 10 years after the Normandy landings, the museum has seen more than 20 million visitors from all over the world. Seventy years after its opening, it is time for the museum to close its doors for good, to make way in March 2023 for a new establishment with a new museography.
